Excel Users Group Meeting
Thursday, August 16 at 9-10 am
Kate Sathi, Acquisitions Librarian will demo a pivot table she uses in Excel. As an Excel power user she may have some answers to questions you bring and you can bring answers too. If you use a tool in Excel for a task and want to demo it, please do. If you have a question and want to ask it, please do. With all the range of Excel experiences in the room, someone will have a suggestion to help you.
What is the goal?
The users group is a method of learning from other’s experiences with Excel; to share techniques and investigate uses for Excel; to ask long-nagging Excel questions you’ve had; or to get help with an Excel project you’re in the middle of doing or planning. The goal is to exchange ideas with other Excel users about how to use Excel more effectively.
How does it work?
The content at any meeting will be developed by the participants’ experiences, questions, and current needs. (This is not a formal class.)
Who is invited?
All students, staff, and faculty are welcome with all levels of Excel skill. (Beginners who haven’t used Excel may find a formal class that teaches Excel to be a better use of time. )
How to participate?
Come to the Excel Users Group in Arc Lab on Thursday, August 16 at 9-10 am
